Description

For ACBS boaters of all chapters, the Payette Lake Chapter in McCall, Idaho invites you to join us with your classic boats in attending a fun antique boat show coming up August 2, 3 with a morning lake run to North Beach on August 4. This year we are partnering with the City of McCall and the Idaho British Car Club for a combined show at the beautiful Payette Lake. There will be over 30 boats of various ages and construction materials in the water and additional areas of on-land static displays for boats and classic cars. The show will begin on Friday afternoon, with a non-hosted get together that evening for show participants. The classic boats will be on public display at the city docks of Art Roberts Park and Legacy Park Friday, August 4th, noon until 6pm and again on Saturday, August 5th from 9am until 5pm.

The show site is in the center of town at the docks of Art Roberts Park and Legacy Park (Dock Locations) with static displays on Lake Street. Saturday night will be the show banquet and awards at the historic ‘Glass House’ on the lake. Awards will be presented after the banquet dinner.

Sunday morning, we have our classic boat ‘Run to North Beach’ for coffee and cake for event participants.

Exhibitors will be met at the launch ramp at Mile High Marina by our launch crew. They will help unload boats, direct parking for trailers and direct boats to their assigned show display area.

This year the rooms at the Glass House have all been reserved. There are still vacation rentals available for that weekend, lodging does go quickly for that time of year.

For 2024 are planning to have an original Grumman Widgeon flying boat at the show. Whether your love is classic wood boats, classic cars or vintage aircraft we hope to see you there.
